Occupational Therapist Amanda Ho is a Certified Hand Therapist that put her skills to good use when the devastating earthquake hit Haiti on January 12th, 2010. Amanda has visited the Caribbean Island twice to offer hand therapy to patients and her experience was documented in an article featured in the Winter 2011 BCSOT OTLine Newsletter (page 8). Kudos to Amanda on all your hard work! |

Through the efforts of staff who have served as clinical instructors, preceptors and speakers in the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) Program, Community Therapists was recently recognized by the UBC Faculty of Medicine with a plaque to acknowledge and thank our practice for this contribution. Team members who have shared their time and expertise with students include Erin Potts, Laila Karmali, Denise Edwards, Sue Reil, Monita Khaira, Liz McIver and Salim Janmohamed. Sue Reil and Salim Janmohamed continue to serve as clinical instructors in the program in the areas of Driver Rehabilitation and Vocational Rehabilitation.
