We are pleased to announce we were one of the successful proponents for the WSBC CBIS contract for Abbotsford, Clearbrook, Chilliwack, Rosedale and Hope. Since our first formal contract with WorkSafe BC in 2006, our work with this fee payer group has grown substantially and now includes Community OT, Community BI and Return to Work Support Services. We owe our success with WorkSafe to the efforts of our many dedicated RAs, office staff and therapists!

Our senior occupational therapist, Monita Khaira Sandu, recently wrote an article entitled "Driving for People with Amputations" that was featured in BCSOT's current newsletter.

Community Therapists is pleased to report that we were one of the successful respondents for the WorkSafe BC RFQ for Return to Work Support Services (RTWSS). Awarded regions include Vancouver and Surrey. RTWSS involves Job Site Visits, Job Demands Analysis and implementation and monitoring of Graduated Return to Work Plans for workers recovering from a variety of different musculoskeletal, psychosocial and neurological injuries.

Director of Quality Assurance, Linda Hirsekorn wrote an interesting article on Driver Rehabilitation in the recent issue of Headline.

In addition to our sponsorship, directors Linda Hirsekorn and Salim Janmohamed will attend the tourney.
