Shari Linde Certified in Speech-Language Pathology by CASLPA
Shari received her Master of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario, Department of Communication Disorders, in 1994. She is registered in good standing with the BC and Canadian Associations of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Shari is also recognized as a Clinical Educator with UBC. Shari’s primary expertise involves working with adults and children with communication impairments resulting from neurological damage, developmental disabilities, psychiatric causes or autism. She also has extensive experience addressing swallowing impairments. She has worked clients extensively in both clinic and community settings including client homes, schools and care facilities. Shari has also been recognized as an expert in the BC Supreme Court in the areas of acquired communication disorders and swallowing issues.
Carla Monteleone M.Sc. SLP
Carla received her Master in Speech-Language Pathology degree from University of Alberta, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, in 2005. Carla is registered with both the British Columbia and Canadian Associations of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, as well as with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia. Carla's primary expertise involves working with preschool aged children with communication impairments. She provides treatment to children with a wide range of delays and disorders, including expressive and receptive language skills, speech skills, fluency (stuttering) and pragmatics (social skills). She has worked with clients both in the clinic and community settings including homes and schools. Carla is especially interested in the area of fluency with preschool and school aged children.
Susan Yang M.Sc. SLP
Susan received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia in 2011. Susan did her original thesis research on narrative abilities in bilingual children with autism. She is a member of the British Columbia and Canadian Associations of Speech-Language Pathologists and is also registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC. Susan’s areas of expertise include working with preschool and school-age children with speech and language impairments. She enjoys working with children with autism and other developmental disorders and delays. Susan has also worked with adults with communication impairments resulting from strokes, brain injury, and other neurological disorders. Susan provides speech-language pathology services in both English and Mandarin.
