Further to our message on March 18, 2020, this notice provides a current update on our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We remain fully operational and are currently accepting referrals for Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Kinesiology services (telehealth & in-person community/workplace visits).
Telehealth services are provided using a secure platform that meets national and provincial privacy regulations. In order to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission, our clinics and offices are not accepting visitors and all of our staff are now working from home using our secure remote-work technologies. Clinic based Functional Capacity Evaluations and Functional Driving Evaluations have been postponed until further notice. We continue to provide urgent in person OT and PT visits and offer a full range of Telehealth services for our clients. In person community/workplace visits are limited to cases where the need is urgent, reasonable precautions can be implemented to minimize risk for the client and clinician and where Telehealth service would not be feasible, safe or effective.
