Further to our message on March 18, 2020, this notice provides a current update on our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We remain fully operational and are currently accepting referrals for Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Kinesiology services (telehealth & in-person community/workplace visits).
Community Therapists is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff and clients and the information outlined here will explain the many steps we have taken to manage the threat that COVID-19 poses to our valued team members and clients.
CTI is pleased to report we were one of the successful proponents for this WorkSafeBC Request for Qualifications. CTI was awarded this contract for Vancouver. A special thanks to the CTI team which contributed to the development of a strong proposal which reflects the expertise of our people and the value of our approach in working with clients recovering from concussion. Team members who contributed expertise, advice, written content and administrative service for this bid include Monita, Sue, Lia, Stephanie, Katie, Shao and Laura! In addition to ECAT, Community Therapists provides COT, CBIS, RTWSS, Home Physiotherapy and Driver Rehabilitation for WorkSafeBC in a number of communities throughout BC.
Community Therapists is pleased to report Sue’s Driver Rehabilitation article was recently accepted by the editorial committee for The Verdict, a publication of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC. Click here to read the article (page 46).
Community Therapists is part of the WorkSafeBC external provider network and is pleased to announce that we were recently re-awarded the Return to Work Support Services (RTWSS) contract for Surrey and Vancouver and have also been awarded Burnaby as a new region. RTWSS involves Job Site Visits, Job Demands Analyses and implementation and monitoring of Graduated Return to Work Plans for workers recovering from a variety of injuries. Community Therapists is pleased to announce that we were recently awarded a WorkSafeBC Community OT contract in the West Kootenays. Service regions include Sparwood to Rossland (excluding Trail), Castlegar to Galena, Creston to Duncan Lake and Cranbrook to Golden.
