Corporate Accountant
Prior to joining Community Therapists in 2006 as an Accounting Assistant, Amy had gained extensive experience in cash handling and customer service in the retail and food services industries. Through continued professional development and mentorship, she was promoted to the position of Junior Accountant, and presently works in the position of Corporate Accountant. In her current role, Amy is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, month end reporting, payroll and statutory filings, filing remittances, completing ad-hoc analyses and reports, and documenting accounting department procedures. Amy holds a Financial Management degree from BCIT and a Foundation Studies in Accounting Diploma from CGA. She is concurrently pursuing her professional accounting designation and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree through Laurentian University, with an anticipated completion in 2011.

Manager, Office & Communications
Kathy joined Community Therapists in 2005 after years of experience working in a paediatric hospital in Montreal. Since joining the practice, Kathy has worked in a number of administrative areas including Office Assistant, Reports Processing and Services Coordination. With this breadth of experience, Kathy took on the role of Manager, Office and Communications in 2011. Kathy is responsible for facility management, information technology, maintenance of our management information system as well as administrative staff scheduling, support and supervision. Kathy also supports the company’s promotional efforts through the delivery of communications and marketing support functions for directors and consultants. Kathy’s communications portfolio includes sponsorship and advertising programs, social media and the corporate website. Kathy is fluent in French and Greek.

- Bachelor of Commerce Office Assistant
Amarjot received her Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2009 and a post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management in 2011. Prior to joining Community Therapists in 2011, Amarjot worked as a Human Resource Assistant for Central Neighbourhood Housing in Toronto, where she organized meetings, facilitated recruitment and selection process. She also managed employee files and pay equity. As the Office Assistant at CTI, she is responsible for the general administration for our various programs and information management support. Amarjot is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.

- Dip. Finance Accounting Assistant
Mina joined the accounting team at community therapists in 2012. She achieved a Diploma in Finance at the Northern Alberta Institution of Technology in 2007. Since then, she has been gathering work experience in the Accounting field working for organizations such as Delta Hotels and Enbridge. In 2010, Mina began working towards her CGA and is currently at Level 4. As the accounting assistant, Mina posts entries, processes invoices, circulates MIS reports and completes other administrative accounting functions.

- BA Service Coordinator
Louise received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002 from Worcester University in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Community Therapists in 2011, Louise worked as an Administration Coordinator and Assistant at Aston and Surrey Universities in the UK. In the few months that Louise worked as an Office Assistant at CTI, she acquired considerable knowledge on our services and staff skills. This made her the perfect candidate for Service Coordinator and is now responsible for managing incoming referrals and assigning them accordingly to our therapists.

RA Service Coordinator
Carmela joined Community Therapists in 2009. She is currently pursuing a Bacherlor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing at Capilano University. Her past experience includes event management, HR management, inside sales and early in her career, she worked as a nursing assistant in an extended care setting. As the RA Service Coordinator with Community Therapists, she will be coordinating rehabilitation assistant personnel in the delivery of our various community programs as well as processing regular referrals. Carmela is fluent in Tagalog.

- BA Service Coordinator
Katie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University in 2010. Katie brings to the team over 10 years experience in customer service and sales. Previous to CTI, Katie was a Customer Service Specialist at Kidsbooks where she interacted with education professionals and provided advice on educational resources and tools available for clients with specific cognitive, developmental and psychological needs. As a CTI Service Coordinator since 2011, Katie not only processes referrals, but she also provides support for the company’s promotional efforts by attending conferences and educational seminars.

- CHRP Human Resources Manager
Sara Wilk joined Community Therapists in 2006 as a Service Coordinator. Her previous work experience included inventory control & purchasing, import/export & transportation logistics and over ten years of customer service. In 2007, Sara became the Administration Manager and in 2011 she was promoted to Human Resources Manager and is currently responsible for all of the HR functions of the practice including recruitment and selection, training and development, and occupational health and safety. Sara also assists in compiling relative HR metrics, analyzing, reporting and identifying trends with recommendations provided. Sara is a member of the BC Human Resources Management Association and holds the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. She also holds a certificate in Human Resources Management from BCIT and is working on a bachelor's degree at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

- BBA (Honors) Corporate Accountant
Since joining Community Therapists in 2006 as an Accounting Assistant, Frannie was promoted to the position of Junior Accountant and subsequently to the position of Corporate Accountant. Her previous work experience includes working as a Client Service Representative for the Canada Revenue Agency, and as an accounting and HR teaching assistant. In her current role, Frannie is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, month-end reporting, invoicing, completing ad-hoc analyses and reports, and documenting accounting department procedures. Frannie graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) degree from Simon Fraser University in 2009 and is a member of the Certified General Accountants Association since 2011.
