Community Therapists is pleased to announce that we were recently awarded a WorkSafeBC Community OT contract in the West Kootenays. Service regions include Sparwood to Rossland (excluding Trail), Castlegar to Galena, Creston to Duncan Lake and Cranbrook to Golden.
Services delivered under this contract provide injured workers with occupational therapy and rehabilitation assistant services aimed at improving functioning at home, in the community and in the workplace. Clients served under this contract have a diverse clinical profile which includes orthopedic, soft tissue, mental health, burn and spinal cord injuries. Community Therapists is also part of the WorkSafeBC provider network for Return to Work Support Services, Community Brain Injury Services and Physiotherapy.
